I have recorded my latest album during a 5887km cycle adventure across Europe. Capturing the sounds of the places i visit. Starting in Edam, then to Gruyere over the Alps to Gorgonzola, Towards the Pyrenees and then up to finish in Camembert.

Rain.Yeah!...Lets get undercover creative. 14th September 2013

1075 miles! I can't believe we have cycled to Switzerland!

Rain, lets get undercover creative

   The water tower

All the beats, rhythm, vocals, percussion and guitar played underneath the tower reflected and bounced back off of the circle ceiling above creating the illusion of 3 dimensional sound. Perfect.

Church organ

As I walked into the massive church in the centre of Worms, I found this monster organ being fine tuned…. Recorder out. captured the lot. What a sound! As all the notes were individually being played, I can edit them together make the melodies that I have been working on.

In the park

......from the pipes of a church organ to the internal qualities of a metal flume slide.

Great acoustics inside and a good laugh sliding down whilst playing guitar…
well, you have got to have fun huh!?

Time in the skate park, couldn’t quite get enough speed for a 360…ha ha

Apple snatching! Can you cycle along and grab an apple from a tree whilst still moving? Hours of fun!

Finding great sounding random objects

 Thanks for the percussion!

An elevating sound....Recording in a lift

Yep in a lift, the sound was a bit, up and down and it took me a while to find the right level. Ha ha

Fantastic people wherever you go

A very kind German gentleman offering shelter for some exceeding long traffic lights.

lucky surprises come all the time

After a 40 mile morning, another 40 miles of canal is just perfect.
Cruising along working on lyrics melodies and new vocal parts.

Well, an 84 mile day sets the scene for Switzerland tomorrow! Look at those mountains. AlPS! Gulp…..
